Oregon's Gold Coast

At Wild Coast Vacations, we first coined the term "Wild Coast" to describe this undiscovered southern coast
of Oregon in 1998 during our first visit to the area.  We used the name Wild Coast for our business beginning
in 1999, and since then we have used the term "Oregon's Gold Coast" to describe this area as well.

"Oregon's Gold Coast", where we have the golden sunshine  that is not usually expected on a trip to the
Pacific Northwest!  On our fine black sand beaches they say you will find traces of
gold, washed down the ancient Rogue River and into the oceans and onto the beaches of our region, and you will find gold also
in the sunshine that fills our sky almost every spring, summer, and fall day.

We have our offices in tiny Gold Beach, so it seems natural to coin the phrase, Oregon's Gold Coast to describe the
sunshine coast of Oregon
.

Welcome to our gold coast of Oregon!

We still sit and gaze at the beauty of our area, views at almost every turn!
