We may have mentioned that we love animals.  So for our beach houses, we try to talk each owner into allowing pets in their wonderful vacation houses.    We tell them that "pet people" are the very best people.  So we ask that pet owners help to prove us right.   We have most of our wonderful vacation rentals listed as pet friendly now, and we are proud of it.  Vacation the wild southern Oregon Coast, and bring your best guy (or girl) pet with you!  (Sorry,  only dogs)

In the meantime, I get to put photos here of my guys, because I am the one who updates this website!  So for anyone who loves animals, here are my "guys", all rescued (please, spay/neuter all pets):

TAZ AND BILL

 certainly thinks he is human in all ways, as you can
 see by the way he is looking at his "brother"

Billy is the one below.  They look so much alike?
Guess what.  They are totally unrelated.  Billy (below)
was found abandoned at 6 weeks of age in Coos Bay
Oregon, wandering dirty and thin, in 2000.

Yes they are adorable together, and no they do not get along at all!   (Sigh)

IN CONTRAST:

These two wonderful guys came with the house we bought,
left behind by I do not know who.  When we discovered them
in the forest by our new house, they were starved and thin,
the one on the right had a broken hip.   Now these two loving
cats are fat and happy, and they sit together to watch the
sunset every evening.   They live in the yard with their own
special house.
I even wrote a small book on this amazing
love story, which I sell on CD for $4.50, all profit goes to animal

This is the story of this loveable pair of cats, their struggles and
will to live, as well as the extraordinary love for each other.  It
is set in Gold Beach Oregon, just by the sea.......

Sadie is the newest addition to our menagerie, and
she is our Check-in Host.
she is a beautiful year old Lab who was
rescued as a young pup from a terrible owner. 
Tina, her rescuer taught her to trust again, and
then she found her way to us.
She is wonderful and loves cats, people, dogs,
just about everyone.   She still gets the shakes
if visited by too many people at once though,
and is not completely sure of all people.  Who
can blame her?

Now we have a second "check-in Host".  Her name is Molly (on the right)
and she has been rescued from the pound after severe mental and physical
abuse.  She is slowly recovering and can now lift her head up!   A milestone!
She has had many litters of puppies before she was dropped at the pound,
but now she is "fixed" and soon we hope she will be "fixed" mentally as well!
Some of the physical things will never be fixed, but she is doing well and she may
greet you on your vacation by the sea!

PLEASE, SPAY NEUTER ALL PETS, THE PETS ABOVE ARE ALL THE RESULT
OF BACKYARD BREEDING AND BREEDING FOR MONEY, WE CAN RESCUE ONLY SO MANY!

WE DO NOT NEED ANY MORE BREEDING OF ANIMALS, WE NEED
CARING HOMES FOR THE THOUSANDS WHO ARE OUT THERE NOW.
