available June through October:
Build yourself a wonderful sand castle,
then take a photo with the sandcastle and the
architect in the photo. Send it to us!
At the end of the season we will pick the
best Sand Castle and the designer will win
two nights for four in one of our wonderful houses! (Your choice of
available participating houses / dates)
You will be Famous!
Your photo will be in the local paper, and it
will be on this
website too! You will get your moment of fame!
We will judge
the sandcastles on creativity, complexity, use of
the natural landscape and
materials, and also how fun it is.
(please use natural items from the beach only, and do not disrupt the look of
the land)

We will judge the best sandcastle in the first week of September and notify the winner!
*(We will come and photograph
your sandcastle if you think you have designed
and produced
something quite wonderful, but have no camera.) Call us at 541-247-0898 and
we will try to
get out there with a camera! (time allowing, please try to take a camera
with you, purchase a
throw away camera from the grocery store)
We hope to see some Wild and Wonderful sandcastles this year!!!
Rules:
1. You must be 18 to enter a sandcastle. You must be 18 to win.
2. You must present a photo with the sandcastle and the sandcastle
builders in the photo.
Photo must be of printable quality or it is
disqualified
3. You may use only naturally occurring items from the surrounding beach,
and may not dig any large
holes or deface the pristine area in any way or you are
disqualified immediately. The decoration
should be the sand, and not items brought over to
decorate. Sandcastle should be built in a
location that will allow the tide to wash it away
within a few days.
4. Sandcastle may not be taller than 4 feet or wider or longer than 8
feet.
5. Photo must be mailed to us immediately (within 1 week of visit) and
must include registered guests only.
6. Please list the names, the vacation rental you rented, date, where the
sand castle is located and have everyone
in the photograph sign and date permission to use this
photo in our ads and on our website. Without these
dated signatures that say "I give permission for you
to publish this photo anywhere", your sandcastle is
disqualified.
7. Photo becomes the property of Wild Coast Vacations to use in whatever
way we would like, and may
include publishing in multiple locations.
Please write this in pencil on the back of the photo (lightly)
and have everyone sign it who shows in the photo.
8. The two nights for four people rental will be available for the winner
to be used in the 06 season, subject
to availability, but may not be used
in the months of July or August. Winner will be given a choice of
houses, and must schedule the two days within what is
available and those dates (once made) cannot be changed.
(Sorry, no holidays) Cleaning fees, pet fees, and extra person
fees are not included and must be paid at check in, if any
apply.
9. We reserve the right to cancel this contest if we do not receive at
least 10 entries of quality.
10. This judging is for fun and entertainment only, and wild Coast Vacations
will be the only judge and final word.
11. All provisions are subject to change without notice.
12. Participating houses will be listed to the winner, and dates
will be selected.

stayed in (only our guests may participate), and each person must sign that they
give us
