House description:
All one level
Large living room, reading room with gas fireplace, dining room, kitchen,
all with open floor
plan , large windows with view of the ocean in all directions.
Most of the house is remodeled or new, but the back bedrooms and baths
are original and circa the 80's. The kitchen is all new and high
end, the dining room and master suite are new, the living room is
remodeled.
Master bedroom suite (Queen bed and Q sofa bed) and master bath are new and set apart from
the rest of the house. Beautiful finishes. View is of the ocean, the river and forest.
Separate entrance, small efficiency kitchen, sofa and chair huge tub in
the master bath suite.
Second bedroom has Queen bed with ocean view
Third bedroom has a king bed and a twin bed, and views of the
ocean.
Fourth bedroom has three twin beds, or push two together for a
King (plus one twin). Ocean view. TV in this room.
Additional sleeping is with Aerobeds, please inquire

Large grass lawn areas, partly fenced wide open spaces and much privacy.
Beaches:
The owner walks to the beach from this house, it is about a 10 minute
hike. Others drive to any of the many parks and open beaches
surrounding the area. Or sit up here on the hill and watch the
waves, the whales, the beaches from here.
The Town:
The beach house is located at the very north edge of Gold Beach just
across the river from town. Only minutes to shops, restaurants, and all of the amenities of
town, miles of wide sand beaches to explore.
Nearby:
Drive 8 miles south for world famous Myers Beach where the wind surfers
play.
Nearby, rent a horse for the day.
Drive another 50 miles south and see the old Redwood forest, left much as it always has been.
Drive about 7 miles north to play golf at the course in Gold Beach, tucked in a valley and surrounded by trees.
Drive 60 miles north to play golf at
the world famous Bandon Dunes
Just at the base of the hill see the famous Rogue River and many forest
walking trails and parks.
Wide sand beaches are only moments from the house, places to park and spend the day at the beach, or to stroll the beach trails.
Some hearty souls walk to the beach from the house, it is only about a 10 minute walk down the hill, through the old trees, and down to the beach.

| The new master bath and bedroom suite overlook the ocean, also the Rogue River and the forest, and are set somewhat apart from the rest of the house. The master suite makes a perfect retreat at the south end of the large home. Step out to the ocean view hot tub, relax and read in the comfortable chair or sofa, fix a snack for yourself in the mini-bar, enjoy the electric fireplace and the view of forest, trees, river, town, and ocean, panoramic view of the entire valley and ocean. | In the historic west, this home overlooks the wonderful black pepper sand beaches of the southern Oregon coast with panoramic ocean views, where you can follow the path of the whales as they pass our shore. To the south east you have views of the famous Rogue River and the bridge, the wild and wonderful area that has been the setting for many books. The wild west experience of this house includes the cattle grazing on the hill as you climb to this home on the top of this coastal mountain. Before you enter the gates, watch for the Grandfather trees that have greeted visitors for a hundred years, and watch where you step! as below the house gates, there still exists a real family cattle farm! The land holds so much history, and the view is spectacular. You will enjoy this adventure by the sea at this estate on top of the mountain. Once inside the gates of the estate, you need not see another human being, and only the wildlife will share your coastal adventure. |
